This book is designed as an introductory text to provide students and other interested parties with the necessary background information to gain a comprehensive understanding of the tourism transportation markets. Transportational modes (air, ground and water-based) are defined, and the different types of transportation available within each mode, as well as their particular use within the tourism industry, are elucidated from a mainly European and North American perspective.
