Description
Summary:Benedict C. Doepfer critically analyzes a networked approach to value creation processes of young knowledge-intensive entrepreneurial firms and assesses precise strategies and tactics in a regional context. He introduces the concept of co-innovation competence which he also examines empirically. The research results indicate that entrepreneurs follow a specific approach towards networking: They minimize transaction costs by applying an on-demand-based perspective of networking. In this case entrepreneurs relate to regional innovation promoters as knowledge and relational brokers and also reach beyond regional networks to exploit structural holes.
